Learning from Books vs. Personal Experience: The Great Debate
Today, students from grades 4, 5, and 6 gathered to showcase their English proficiency and critical thinking skills in an exciting debate:
“Is it better to learn from personal experience or from books?”

• Highlighted the wisdom of historical figures and the endless knowledge stored in books.
• Argued that books provide structured learning and help us avoid repeating mistakes from the past.

• Advocated for the value of firsthand experience as a powerful teacher.
• Claimed that learning by doing builds stronger memories and practical skills.
The students amazed us with their eloquence, teamwork, and enthusiasm. They didn’t just debate—they inspired their peers to think deeply about the way we learn.
In the end, it wasn’t about which team won—it was about fostering confidence, improving language skills, and celebrating the joy of learning!
Let’s continue empowering our students to grow in both knowledge and character.
